Pertschy Palais Hotel - Vienna

Ideal location for seeing the sights of Vienna. Very good breakfast.Comfortable rooms. Interesting old building although the common areas need an update .

No facility for making yourself a tea or a coffee in the rooms .Very grumpy night porter.

The Pension was right in the heart of Vienna within walking distance of nearly all the sights. The room was in a very quiet courtyard, so you couldn't barely hear the street sounds. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful; there was a free computer; the breakfast was an enormous delicious buffet. If I go to Vienna again, I will definitely stay there.

Advertising was misleading. The hotel did not have tea\coffee making facilities, no airconditioniong,. We had spent the last two weeks in 2 and 3 star venues that were superior to this Hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone nor rebook. The balcony \ walkway to each room was very unsettling and dangerous particularly for the elderly. The car parking was a lot further than we had been advised

Perfectly located.large room in an amazingly old but acceptably updated building. Practically next door to the Spanish Riding School (the Lipizzaner's). It is within waking distance to all of inner Vienna (the cleanest city even with numerous the horse drawn carriages). They had a nice breakfast included in the room price though we chose to pay a small additional fee to enjoy room service). Mario at the desk was very helpful.

Our room was on the 2nd floor facing the street which was noisey in the early morning.

Great, great location, close to Stephensdom and Imperial Complex. English furniture type. Triple room (109) is very quite and presents a large area. Very good breakfast with friendly staff. Very good service for money.

No air conditioned iss available in the room 109. Only a fan is provided. The inner courtyard needs to be improved in order to looks better. Works beginning to be made. Acess to rooms is not properly for people with reduced mobility.

На кредитной карте в день чек-аута заблокировали деньги (150 EUR) помимо тех, которые были блокированы предварительно в день заказа (89 EUR). Причем, когда обнаружив несоответствие я вернулась в отель с претензией, там категорически отрицали даже возможность подобной транзакции, хотя 89 EUR сразу же вернули. Остальные деньги автоматически разблокировались ёерез 16 дней.

Convenience of the location in the downtown area.

The hotel has a great location, it's right of the main shoppingstreet and everything is close. You have a 5 min. walk to Stephansdom and you are just in the middle of everything. One thing that we really appriciated was their breakfast, that was a good start on the day! And the rooms are very charming in their lovely wienerkitsch-way!

The location is absolutely unbeatable.

The room was very clean, but housekeeping did not speak English and was not particularly good during our stay (e.g. came when we were in the room, were asked to come back later, but did not understand and did not come back).

An unusual but special hotel in a traditional Viennese courtyard. Rooms are reached via the open air via walkways along the interior court. Being an architect I liked this and the fabulously central location very much. Service was intelligent and courteous in a very Viennese way. I think it will be one of my favourite hotels

Pension Pertschy is a comfortable and reasonabley priced hotel that is centrally located (a few minutes' walk from the Stephansdom). It is well placed for many of the major museums and art galleries. The buffet breakfast is included in the price and offers a wide and attractive selection, hot and cold. Other meals are not available in the hotel, but there are many cafes and restaurants close by to suit all tastes and budgets. One of the main shopping areas is within walking distance, so shoppers will be happy as well as culture enthusiasts. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful, and have a command of a remarkable range of languages including excellent English.

A new lift had been installed and was working (December 2010) but was still covered in scaffolding. When this is finished off, the central courtyard will have a more tidy appearance.

Very comfortable beds and pillows; delicious breakfast with enough variety to suit all tastes. Very helpful staff; one of them loaned me a tie to attend the Opera.
